Quick Answers
(5)
What microphone does it use?
It uses your system's default audio input. If you have multiple microphones, select the one you want in your OS audio settings before recording.
Is my recording uploaded?
No. All recording and encoding happens in your browser. Audio never leaves your device.
What format is the output?
Recordings are saved as lossless WAV files (16-bit PCM). You can trim or convert them using the Audio Trimmer tool.
Can I pause and resume?
Yes. Click Pause to temporarily stop recording, then Resume to continue. The final file will contain all recorded segments seamlessly.
Why is the level meter red?
Red indicates clipping (signal too loud). Lower the Input Gain slider or move further from the microphone to avoid distortion.
